Two other ideas: 1) While waiting for new brew element I can switch the steam and brew elements, then also switch temp priority. That'll get me expresso until the new element arrives. 2) Anyone fixed an element by reflowing solder? I'm guessing unlikely. I rememeber my old dead steam element looked perfect from the outside, just had infinite resistance.
