We have some rebuilt machines that you may want to look at. We tore these
machine down and descaled the boiler and all the copper tubing, rebuilt
with new seals the group, steam valve and hot water valve. Any gauges or
other parts were replaced as needed. The Brewtus machines that came with
old AKO controller now have the new PID. We gave them a 1 year P&L
warranty.

These machines operate like new.

Rebuilt Machine Overview

Our rebuilt machines were entirely dismantled, cleaned and extensively
rebuilt. The whole boiler assembly and all of the copper tubing was removed
and thoroughly descaled. We then rebuilt the boiler, brew group, pump
assembly and valves, cleaning, replacing and lubricating parts as
necessary. Our entire process is described in detail below.

Total Tear Down and Rebuild Process:

   - Boiler & Piping Assembly: We installed all NEW parts including a *heating
element, pressurestat, safety valve, vacuum relief valve, high limit
   switch, and boiler insulation.*
   - Brew group: we then did a complete tear down, cleaning and lubrication
of the brew group and installed all NEW *brewing, infusion and discharge
valves along with their seals, the upper and lower infusion valve springs,
the shower screen, and group gasket. They are just like new.*
   - Pump Assembly: the rebuilds all feature an all NEW *pump, OPV & air
remover, and style fitting with heavy duty teflon tubing.*

Testing Phase:

   - When the machines were reassembled, we adjusted the steam pressure to
1 bar; and, with the backflush disc in, we set the brew pressure to 10 bars.
   - Post-reassembly, we thoroughly tested the machine’s steaming, brewing
and pre-infusion performance, and made sure the sound level it produced was
no louder than on a new machine.
