My Brewtus started to trip my GFI receptacle when first turned on first thing
in the morning (with steam boiler off). I plugged it into another receptacle
that was not on a GFI where it started to heat up. When it got to about 65c I
heard a pop and it shut off (it did not trip the receptacles breaker). There
was a hint of burnt insulation, not strong and no visible smoke.

Now it will not turn on at all. Nothing.
I visually inspected the insides but do not see any visible damage.

Any recommendations on where to start? I have a voltmeter but do not have
great electrician skills.

Thanks in advance.
