I just put my Brewtus II back together after rebuilding the steam boiler and rehabbing the rest of the machine. I have replaced the steam boiler, steam boiler heating element, blow-off valve, and many fittings. New pstat and new tstats. Every piece of metal has been removed and descaled. Every gasket has been replaced. Both wands were taken apart and cleaned and new gaskets inserted.
When I turn on the machine, the steam boiler heats up. However, there is no reading on the steam pressure gauge. However, eventually the blow-off valve actuates, releasing steam. Additionally, nothing comes out when the steam wand or water wand is turned on. One mistake I did make was not turning on the machine to take stock of any potential issues before the tear-down. It was running but began to have some issues at the end. My wife was the only one using it at the time. Long story short - I wanted my Brewtus back and began the tear down, especially after WLL told me that I needed a new steam boiler. I am at a bit of a loss as to where to begin to address this issue. I was hoping someone here might be able to provide some insight. Thank you very much. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
