Hey all! Hope you’re well. I’m using an ECM machine these days, but still E61. With my Brewtus, I used the standard black rubber gasket for the group head, and never had issues (except needing to replace every year or so).
On the ECM, I think I may have a silicon gasket instead. The portafilter basket sticks to it every time, to the extent that the basket sometimes comes out of the PF and stays stuck to the gasket, and/or other times when I pull the PF the gasket and screen come out all together! Does anyone have a favorite gasket, of any material, that doesn’t stick like this? And, is there something else I can be doing to help (I flush with cafiza and PF wiggle weekly).
