Hi everyone,
I lost power to my steam boiler in my Minore IV Brewtus a while ago and got
used to espresso lol, now the brew boiler has gone too.

With both of these the thermal overload that is situated in the element
(2000W 240v) mount is the culprit.
The elements themselves are still good...

The distributor said to me that it's redundant in the circuit design and to
just take it out/short instead of replace- he said that's what they do
under warranty.

I'd like to know if anyone would have anything to add to the thought
process behind this before I go one way or another.

Also, could anyone tell me what the open circuit temperature would be on
these?
