Hi

You can find this at
http://bridge.sourceforge.net/devel/bridge-nf/20010907-2/ .

I downloaded all of the files and applied every patch from within the
/usr/src directory by typing patch -p0<xx_name_of_patch.

The file br_passthrough.c has to be copied in a new folder within the
linux/net/bridge directory. Make a linux/net/bridge/netfilter and copy the
br_passthrough.c in this directory. Then from within the /usr/src/linux make
menuconfig and select the bridge and the bridge_netfilter or something
option below the bridging option (is in the networking options section).

I got the box working now and it's like a dream. Okay connected to a 10MBs
and a 100MBs copying files at full speed over the bridge gives on a pentium
120 about 25% CPU utilization. But I think this is a good value.

Marcel

PS: The iptables rules can be applied to the forward chain.
