Hi, there! I setup a bridge device having 3 interfaces for LAN, i.e. Ethernet(100baseT), 802.11b, HPNA 2.0. They are operating well.
But, I found a strange phenomenon. When I measured the network speed, there is a difference between TX and RX of HPNA 2.0. RX speed is almost 1/3 of TX speed. In case of not using bridge, they are not differnet. And Ethernet & 802.11b's both direction speed is almost same always. Does anyone have some idea? How can I resolve this problem? I heard from some guy that HPNA 2.0's MAC is different from Ethernet and linux bridge module is built based on Ethernet MAC, so bridge can't handle HPNA 2.0 MAC frame good. Is it reasonable? If this information is right, is there any solution about this problem? Please help me! _______________________________________________ Bridge mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/mailman/listinfo/bridge
