Hi,

I hope someone can help with this. I have set up a simple bridge between the
following two cards:

eth0 is a CNet Pro 200B 100MBps , uses dmfe.o module and
eth1 is a Dlink DE220 NE2000 clone, using ne.o and io=0x300 irq 10

i have set up both interfaces as explained in the howto, with the following info :

root@io:~# ifconfig
br0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:80:AD:70:F9:FF
          inet addr:192.168.1.254
          Bcast:192.168.1.255
          Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:5923 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
          frame:0
          TX packets:4660 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
          carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:2028329 (1.9 Mb) TX bytes:1203520 (1.1 Mb)

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:80:AD:70:F9:FF
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:3015 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:3517 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:331441 (323.6 Kb) TX bytes:1076786 (1.0 Mb)
          Interrupt:9 Base address:0xdc00

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:80:C8:79:5B:67
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:4604 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:23
          TX packets:1979 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:14 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:1955009 (1.8 Mb) TX bytes:191884 (187.3 Kb)
          Interrupt:10 Base address:0x300

The eth0 side is using 100BaseT, going through a Dlink DES1005D switch, the eth1 side
is just 10Base2 coaxial.

>From the bridge box i can ping machines on both sides of the bridge, but i cannot
>ping from a machine on one side of the bridge to a machine on the other side.

Any suggestions ?
