I lightly tested the frame diverter in an earlier kernel with some success, but I much prefer the current bridge netfilter integration. With the current bridge-netfilter integration there is no longer any need or use for a "frame diverter". With the current bridge-netfilter integration the bridge specific howto is 1. modprobe br_passthrough 2.
