Hello,
I am new to the list and to bridging with Linux. I've managed to get
the normal bridge code to work under Kernel 2.4-9. What I am really trying
to do is integrate it with iptables. I've got the patches for the kernel
2.4-16 and I applied them to the 2.4-9 source. Everything compiles
properly, but when the system boots, it doesn't recognize the nics. Have I
done something horribly wrong? Should I go ahead and upgrade to 2.4-16 and
try again?

P.S. I've been able to grab the rpm and apply it to the 2.4-9 rpm, and
everything works fine. The only problem is that I am messing with the
iptables code and if I recompile the kernel, I'll loose the bridge patches.
Is there a source rpm for the 2.4-9 kernel?
