Hi all, straight down to business. Work is relatively slack at the
moment, so I've got a chance to work on my firewall box. Last time I
touched the box was about 5 months ago, so my instructions and notes I had
for then are now outdated.

What I've got at the moment is RedHat with Kernel 2.4.17.

I downloaded and patched the kernel with
http://bridge.sourceforge.net/devel/bridge-nf/bridge-nf-0.0.4-against-2.4.16.diff

as well as the ones in http://bridge.sourceforge.net/patchtracker.html

Then I recompiled the kernel and the bridge works great, but the firewall
doesn't. Reading back through the list lead me to Bart's message about
enabling EXPERIMENTAL option. So I'm going to do that, then try it again.

Looking back through my notes, with my last kernel (2.4.5) I had to copy
br_passthrough.c somwhere, but I can't find any reference to that
now. Does this still need to be done?

Just thought I'd ask before I recompiled the kernel and found out I missed
something else.

        Cheers,
                Ryan.
