I'm developing an ARM based bridging firewall. Of course, packet filtering is important. Unfortunately, 2.4.17 with bridge-nf-0.0.6-against-2.4.17.diff causes the kernel to panic, even when bridge filtering is not enabled:
autoconf.h:#undef CONFIG_BRIDGE_NF This same configuration works well on my X86 portable.
