Hello All,

I'm urgently need help.
Here's my story:

It not working for me...
Linux-box, that should act as a bridge has an ISA 3Com 509 and Compaq WL200
(Prism2) wireless 11Mb cards.
Normal TCP/IP communications works well, machine acts as a router withou any
problems, but when I'm trying to
turn on the bridging, using the following commands got exactly from HOWTO

brctl addbr br0
brctl addif br0 eth0
brctl addif br0 wlan0
ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0
ifocnfig wlan0 0.0.0.0
ifconfig br0 192.168.0.112 up

Now the interesting situation. Windows box can not be pinged neither from
the wired Ethernet nor from Linux box (bridge). From the Windows machine
I'm unable to ping both Linux-box and all wired LAN.
I've checked the ARP table before and after trying to connect thru the
bridge
and foung that arp works well, e.g. ARP table collects the correct addresses
of LAN cards in both ethernet segments. So it seems that ARP packets goes
thru
the bridge but IP packets - no.

I'll be glad to hear any advices.

Thanks in advance for all answers,
Sincerely yours,
Dmitri Gofmekler.
