OK, I got the bridge working, and I'm really happy!

Now, however, I'm running into a couple issues...first one being sshing into
a box behind the switch:

>From any box that's not the switch:
rivyn@epona:~$ ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password:
Last login: Wed Feb 20 14:07:21 2002 from

cshobe@caillech:~$

>From the box that is the switch:
cshobe@amaethon:~$ ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Permission denied, please try again.
Permission denied, please try again.
Permission denied (publickey,password,keyboard-interactive).

The switch is 216.27.168.203.

Second (not really bridge related),

How do I set linux to not answer IP requests made to a NIC that is not
assigned that IP?

For example:
eth0 = 216.27.168.200
eth1 = 216.27.168.201

I plug in eth1 and ping 216.27.168.200 -OR- .201, and get ping replies.

A friend told me this is a setting somewhere in /proc/sys/net, but wasn't
sure where.

Thanks,
