Hello all, I try to use bridging in a very inhomogene network, where several protocols are in use. My tests so far show, that TCP/IP works very well, but I seem to have troubles with netbeui. When mounting drives over the bridge I can "dir" or do any other short requests without problem, but as soon as I try to copy files (e.g. start heavy network traffic) the clients' network connection is lost. This does not happen over a standard switch. The bridge I use looks like: AMD-1800+, linux kernel 2.4.18 with latest bridge patches, 2 x netgear gigabit card (64 bit PCI). I guess there should be no performance problem on such a setup, or?
Any hints appreciated Stephan _______________________________________________ Bridge mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/mailman/listinfo/bridge
