I'll start with an easy mail to reply to :) Since ebtables2.0pre1 (and ebtables1.3 but that probably only worked for me), ebtables LOCAL_OUT is always executed after iptables LOCAL_OUT. This was fixed for my local box right after you released 0.0.6 but I, well, hate(d) patching.
