I've setup a bridging firewall with the code from bridge.sourceforge.net and
it seems to be working well (yay). We currently have it setup in our office
in front of our lan and it has been running for about 2 days now with no
problems that I can tell. We plan to put this up in front of our webserver
at the hosting facility, but before doing that I want to make sure nothing
is wrong. I.e., downtime == bad. How can I test the setup to be relatively
sure it'll be ok at the datacenter? How long should I leave it running on
our lan before declaring it ok for production? a week? 2 weeks? a month?
I'd like to have it at our host ASAP, but don't want to put it in if it's
going to break.

Also, the machine we're using is a P3 1GHz with 256 megs ram and a 40 gig
hard drive. I assume this should be able to handle ~ 1 Mbps traffic OK?

TIA,
Evan
