[Bridge] Bridge, NIC and powerdown

Hello,

I use a linux box running a bridge with 2 ethernet intefaces (in fact a multiport ethernet).

Is it possible on some multiports cards to make a direct electrical connection between the 2 RJ45 ports in case of powerdown of my computer.

I know that this feature exists in some industrial products.
