Hi!

I have one question: I want to build a router with 3 nic, 2 for the
local pcs, one for the cable modem. Additionally I would like the
two pcs to reside on the same subnet. All traffic between the two
should not be filtered, but both can connect to the net and the
traffic to the net is filtered.

Is this possible withplain bridge-nf code or do I need ebtables?

I thought it should be enough to set up a bridge between the
two local nics and then treat bro and eth2 (external) as normal
routing interfaces with iptables. Is this possible?

Thanks a lot for any hints.

Best wishes

Norbert
