I setup a bridge on my own compiled kernel (2.4.19), and I was only able to receive 100K (over samba) on a 11MB link to the server itself. I got roughly 500K on the downlink. Without the bridge (using iptables) I was able to receive the full 5Mbps (so its not the wifi card). Any idea what I did wrong or more importantly how to resolve?
