hi,

thanks ppl for ur help ..... yesterday Tino Keitel replied for my query and the his
solution worked...

now i have different trouble.... i am using iptables and am using bytelimit to shaping
traffic... ( FORWARD chain in filter table)..
as i cant mark packets when using ebtables. when i add a rule like
#iptables -A FORWARD -s 192.168.1.59 -m bytelimit --rate 100000 -j DROP
#
no error here.....

when i say
#iptables -L
the command doesnt print anything after FOWARD .....

i check this thru libiptc program(borrowed it from the libiptc docs) to list all the
chains.. then it says .... "Cann't find match 'bytelimit'" ....

another thing #iptables -nvL prints properly ....

whats happening here ? does it have to do anything with bridge or ebtables ? pls
help...
thanks for the consideration,

bye
naren
