Greetings,

A further development from my last email (see below).

IPX traffic seems to be happily bridged (kernel 2.4.17) once the IPX
options have been included in the Linux kernel.

  Specifically: CONFIG_IPX, CONFIG_IPX_INTERN

No other configuration is required. (ie. No userspace tools/configuration)

The initial responses that I received from the list indicated
that it should 'all just work'.

I suspect that the IPX code is getting to the packets prior to the
bridging code. Is this something that needs changing?

Comments?

Greetings,

Is there anyone successfully bridging IPX traffic using the
bridge code in Linux?

The Story:

I am using linux 2.4.17 (with default bridging) to do traffic
shaping over a single ethernet link. (The device can be just dropped
  onto the link.)

It seem that this breaks IPX. IPX packets don't seem to be forwarded.
This seems very strange as the box is ment to bridging Ethernet, and
  hence shouldn't really care.
