Hi,
Can anybody tell me where I can find the latest bridging code without the
NF patch?

Regards,
Anurag

Yeah.. for some reason Red Hat decided to REMOVE the bridge-nf patch
from their update kernels. Please report this to bugzilla.redhat.com.

When the recent debate on bridge-nf was ongoing, David Miller
said that bridge-nf was 'buggy' and that it 'potentially copies
past the end of the buffer'. I mentioned to him that the code
did something very similar to another part of kernel code, and
asked him what the bugginess was all about. He didn't reply to
that bit of my email, and right now he has merged the bridge-nf
patch without having complained about the code in question.

So my guess would be that David told the RH kernel package
maintainer to take the patch out.

two bridge firewalls by using the up2date utility on Redhat 7.3 boxes and
updating the kernel. IPTables just stops working with the bridge.
