Hi,
We have the following setup
|--------| C1 |--------| C2 |------|
| H1 |--------| Bridge |-----| H2 |
|--------| |--------| |------|
H1 and H2 are hosts.
C1 is ethernet connection, c2 should be ppp
I first tested with C2 as ethernet. It worked fine.
When C2 is changed to PPP, bridging code in linux refused to accept C2
(ppp0).
#brctl addif mybridge ppp0
br_add_interface : invalid argument
It seems that such a configuration is not supported under present
implementation. Is it so? How should I move about writing glue code for
bridging over ppp ? Any pointers / suggestions?
thanks for your time.
Om.
