[Bridge] Topology change detected.

Hi,
I installed a bridge with firewall patch(2.4.19 kernel) between my cisco 2600 and my switch with my server farm.
As soon as I started the bridge I got a lot of:

br0: received tcn bpdu on port 1(eth0)
br0: topology change detected, propagating

more than 1 message/second.

The bridge has an ip assigned to br0 interface so I can work remotly on it.
It has about 70% packet loss and responds very slow ... except this it seems to work ok. :)

What causes that messages ? There are no computers starting or shuting down while bridge was running.

I can send more debug info if needed (tcpdump etc ...)
