Hi, A friend has an iptables based firewall built on top of a bridge.
I've been telling him, that he needs to build an up to date version for a long time now. I'd have to do some digging to figure out what vintage he is running. Perhaps that's his underlying problem or perhaps it's just misconfigured. He just discovered that NetBEUI was sneaking past his firewall. One wonders what other funky protocols can sneak past iptables. How does one say drop all funky protocols?
