Dear Sir: Q1: i want to bridge two lan port (eth0 and wlan0) to br0 in my linux box(kernrl 2.4.18-3), i follow the bridge HOW-TO setps and static assign IP it works fine.But i can't run dhcpcd on my bridge interface, that is, i can't get ip for bridge interface from dhcp server outside.
In my another linux machine, it can get ip for bridge interface from dhcp server outside. It's too strange, because the settings are both identical. Is there something wrong? No matter it works or not, it all took about 100~120 seconds, why this take so long? Q2: there is a known bug called "(unverified) can't run dhcpd on bridge interface" Does this fix now? any comments, appreciate!!
