I've been trying out the "ip mode" patches (available at http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/~julian/#bridging ) for my bridging+routing needs, and they've proved to be very useful.
I set "brctl ipmode on" and then mangle packets with netfilter (and the netfilter patches) and route them over various tunnels with iproute2's multiple routing tables. My question: Are these patches likely to be integrated into the main line of the linux bridge code? For my (simple) needs, they seem to be a nice and simple alternative to ebtables. -- David Rochberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ Bridge mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/mailman/listinfo/bridge
