Can anyone tell me how to, or direct me to a resource that tells me how to set up a transparent proxy using Linux 2.4.18 + bridge-nf 0.0.7 and squid 2.5-stable1

the bridge-nf patch is definitely installed and working, and squid has been compiled with the --enable-linux-netfilter option.

My brief is to create a transparent proxy that does not require any configuration changes on the local network, and that can pass non-IP packets (like dhcp & bootp originating at their firewall). So proxy ARP and NAT are not suitable.
