Thank you Lucas, that did work!

Now I'm wondering if the server can remember all the MAC addresses and IPs the 
bridge "learnt" before rebooting.

Everytime I restart the server, the bridge has to learn all the MACs and IPs 
all over again which takes a while with only 3 PCs connected to the bridge. I 
have a feeling it would take longer if there were >30 PCs!

Here are the Bridge Related commands I inserted in /etc/rc.d/rc.local

ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0
ifconfig eth1 0.0.0.0
brctl addbr br0
brctl addif br0 eth0
brctl addif br0 eth1
ifconfig br0 192.168.1.1
