Is there any way to choose which MAC address to use?

My situation is that I would like create a bridge between a Linux box and
an Teletronics CPE unit. The Linux box has a Teletronics wireless card
and a LinkSys ethernet card, with the LinkSys MAC being the lower one.
The CPE is also setup as a bridge.

The problem is that the CPE does not accept traffic from the br0 interface
when it takes the LinkSys MAC address. If I start br0 with only the
wireless card as a slave, I can send traffic from the Linux box. Once I
add the LinkSys card the MAC address changes and the CPE will no longer
accept the traffic. I realize that a possible solution is to get a LAN
card with a higher MAC address, but if it's possible to get around this it
would be useful.

Thanks,
cs
