Hi I'm running Debian with kernel 2.4.18 bridge-utils 0.9.5-2
I have eth0 eth1 and eth2 (eth0 is now used at all) i've used this to set up my bridge ifconfig eth1 0.0.0.0 ifconfig eth2 0.0.0.0 brctl addbr br0 brctl addif br0 eth1 brctl addif br0 eth2 brctl stp br0 on ifconfig br0 192.168.0.3/24 i have squid installed and configuerd for transparent work on this machine. i have contact with internet from it, and it can be reached from any side of the bridge. the default policy of iptables is ACCEPT I havent found a straight answer on the internet how to make this machine do a transparent webcache, i've searched the archives of this mailinglist but havent found anything that works for me... can anyone tell me how it should be done?
