Philip Mark Donaghy updated PB-31: ---------------------------------- Attachment: map-portlet.tar.gz The 1.0 version of the bridge looks fine. I've joined the three bridges mailing lists so I now get updates about this issue. The attachment contains a demo map application that uses this bridge. This is a demo MapServer users will be familiar with because it was written by the MapServer author Steve Lime. I contacted him last night to get his permission to license it under the Apache 2 license. Here's what he said "As far as I'm concerned its totally free, no strings attached at all." I stripped it down to the minimum and added Apache licenses to everything. It can be build with maven war There is documentation with maven xdoc. It contains a guide to getting started, screen shots of the demo, and a road map of the features that I would like to add in the future. > Implement a MapServer bridge > ---------------------------- > > Key: PB-31 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PB-31 > Project: Portals Bridges > Type: Improvement > Reporter: Philip Mark Donaghy > Assignee: David Sean Taylor > Attachments: map-portlet.tar.gz, mapserver.tar.gz > > Build a bridge to MapServer (Open source simplified BSD license), a mapping > program with rich image, graphic, and vector capabilities. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
