Hello,

I have a depolyed (WebLogic 9.2) web application that utilizes the struts 1.2.4 bridge. I am using Stringbeans 3.2 for the portal framework. The portlet web application deploys and the portlet is created successfully. However, when I click on a link or submit the form to the Stringbeans portal, a Javascript alert "Internal server error encountered while invoking portlet action. Please contact your portal administrator for help" message is displayed. When the alert "OK" button is pressed, the original page is refreshed. I could not find an error message in any of the server log files. I am using the "ServletContextProviderWLImpl" in the "WEB-INF\portlet.xml" file (as specified inside the Stringbeans 3.2 Configuration Reference Manual). Has anyone else used the struts bridge with WebLogic 9.2? Is there any way to debug a struts bridge web app to figure out were the failure occurs? This portlet (struts bridge) web app works with JBoss 4.0.4.

Also, what is the difference between the "struts-portlet.tld" file and the "struts-portlet-html.tld" in the struts bridge 1.2.4 jar file? Does only the URI in the "struts-portlet-html.tld" need to be referenced/mapped for the JSPs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
