Us Oregonians will be receiving our Mail-in Ballots this week. This means that I can vote long before Nov. 7th. I got the voting booklet a couple of days ago. It is probably 300 pages (an inch thick). We have 27 ballot initiatives on the ballot. It means that Oregonians will have much more time to vote, which will make it less an "impulse" vote. This is the first time voters have been able to vote by mail for a presidential candidate. I watched Jesse Ventura yesterday talking on TV. Is anyone on the list offended by anything that Jesse Ventura says?. Does anyone doubt his sincerity? He seems to be one of the first influential politicians that believes in openness, and perpetually has his middle finger in the air pointed towards Washington. It seems to me that that dude has a chance in the future of running for president, and winning by landslide. The question is, could he win if he was running for Prez. today.
