Not in an animation though! :-) (at least not to my knowledge). The second
biggest criticism of Dinosaur was having dinosaurs that look so real do
things that are so unreal (I.E. talking). Were it a traditional animation
nobody would have thought a thing about it, but real-looking dinosaurs
talking? None of what I am doing is singly unique. Trying to create
convincing computer animations is not unique. The story is quite formulaic,
so I would be shocked if someone thought it was unique. The concept is not
unique (though you have to admit, it hasn't been done often). It's putting
all those things together though, that has not been done before. Though, I
don't really care about it being unique, it's a computer animation with
dolphins in it, which is really what I need to do for myself. Dinosaur was
just the inspiration. Other than that, as an old song said "Whatever will be
will be."
