Interesting op ed piece from Steven Pinker the language guru in the times 
yesterday. he points out that malapropisms don't bother us much because in 
reality we all make them. everyone knows what bush means so they ignore the 
goofs. this may or may not be good according to Pinker but it is reasonalbe 
given that all human speach is filled with these ramblings
