I dunno.  I'm sure Texas, like most states, certainly has its local
colloquialisms.  For example, folks are always "fixin'" to do something and
"reckonin'" on it.  I bet when GWB's wife asked him about campaigning for
President, he said "Reckon' I'm fixin' to do just that."  :)

I 'd guess that even all that Ivy League education couldn't have driven out
any real Texans inner John Wayne.  ;-)
