The best part about that one was the guy surfing down through the
atmosphere at the end.

In fact, I haven't seen the whole movie ever, but I've seen the last
20-30 minutes a bunch of times, because my boyfriend in college (now my
husband) thought it was one of the funniest things, and had to share it
with as many small groups of people late on Saturday nights as possible.

(And someone used the technique in a Traveller game, got *really* lucky on
dice rolls, and survived being outside the shuttle as it landed on a
planet with atmosphere.)
