Now the GOP, which ridiculed elderly Palm Beach voters who tried to vote but
couldn't figure out the ballot as "stupid" and "idiots," wants to hold
Congressional hearings on why Republicans in California couldn't drag their
lazy butts to the polls after hearing Gore won some state back East?
I can see it now --
"Are you aware that millions of Americans have died to protect your right to
vote?"
"Yeah, but after I saw that TV news show I just didn't feel like it anymore."
Oh, and somehow I doubt this Republican TV review is going to include the
Bush cousin making the decision to erroneously name Bush the next president
on Fox TV, not to mention leaking secret polling data to GWB. I'm pretty sure
that's *not* going to be one of the TV-related topics that will be
investigated.
