Philcon is the annual convention of the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society.
It's the oldest sci fi con in the world (it actually predates the Worldcon).
It's this weekend (Nov. 17-19) at the Adams Mark Hotel in Philadelphia.
Guests are Vernor Vinge, Bob Walters, and Robin Atkin-Downes. Poul Anderson
has had to withdraw due to health problems. There are lots of other writers
and artists in attendance.
