New, top-of-the-line riding mowers are pretty cool. Older ones aren't so
hot. (Having learned on one that was at least 7 years old at the time, I
can speak from some experience.) You don't really need a riding mower
until you've got a good acre or so to be mowing.
As for the coolness of babies -- I think I know a bit more about dealing
with riding mowers than newborn infants, but I'm always looking for
learning experiences. :)
