Totally! The amount of fat in a given food isn't the only consideration,
really. Ha, it doesn't even tell you what *kind* of fats they're talking
about. Among other things like how much cream cheese is on the bagel, and
what good stuff does the bagel have in it that doughnuts absolutely lack.

I wonder when people started putting cream cheese on bagels. Seems like a
tradition, but I wonder how old it is. I like 'em that way, but I also like
'em toasted with a little margarine melted on 'em.

Finally . . . wow, I didn't know people really used the spelling "donut"
besides on signs and stuff. Now I feel hypertraditionalist somehow. :)
