The angle between the ecliptic and the galactic plane is about 62°, 
IIRC.  FWIW, the angle between the Earth's equatorial plane and the 
galactic plane is 62.6°, and the angle between the Earth's equatorial plane 
and the ecliptic plane is 23.5° (the reason your average classroom globe is 
tilted at that angle.)
