I'm sure the Cube was revenge for the break-up of Austria-Hungary after WW1.
Rubik's Cube, that is, not the Cube in the eponymous film. (Although that
was a cool if deadly puzzle. Wonder if we could modify Rubik's Cube to be
more danderous? But I digress...).

"They beat us in a war, so now we fry their kids' brains!!!
Muhahahahahahaha!"

Anyway, for theraeutic fiddling, I always enjoyed the "Snake". Could make a
number of shapes out of it, including a 'raygun', a ball, a cobra and the
all-time classic "long thin thing". :o)
