Anybody out there know why musicmaker.com shut down its site so
abruptly? I mean, the company is bankrupt I think (Yahoo news says they
are in liquidation) but it went from Happy Holidays! 50 percent Off
custom cds and downloads to 404 Not Found. I mean, there doesn't seem to
be a page up saying "out of business" even. Maybe it's just this system I
can't access it from. If I turned off cookies would it work? it had
automatic login? or is it if you are behind a firewall? (No, it isn't a
case of "not allowed to surf there.") I got several bargains out of them
anyway, but pity the poor soul with a gift certificate. OR the
stockholders but I'm not that dumb. Is this the norm?
