I felt the need for some lite reading a week or so ago so I picked up Grisham's "The Brethren". If any one else feels so inclined I would advise against it. IMO its by far his worst. The story involves two plot lines that intersect. In one, three judges convicted of various crimes and doing time together in a Florida "Club Fed" are scamming closeted Gays and in the other the CIA is attempting to buy the presidency (no, really). There is no distinguishable protagonist in the book, pretty much everyone is an asshole to one degree or another, and I found myself wishing that they would all put each other out of their collective misery.
