I can't really comment on that sort of thing - and I don't know anything
more than what I've read in the news even if I could. :)
Obviously, MS is a major target for things. If there was a day when the MS
sites weren't being bombarded, that would be strange.
That said, though, I have no reason to doubt the latest word out of our PR
types as reported by the press. It makes sense - after MS announced that
Wed's problems were caused by a technician's error (poor guy), lots of press
reports had quotes from various network types claiming how vulnerable MS's
DNS configuration would be to a DoS attack. The fact that a big one happened
on Thu shouldn't be a total shock.
