That's in Houston. It's higher in the Austin area. Rent in Austin is
noticeably higher than in Houston. Austin may be the most expensive place
in Texas to live, though; I'm not quite sure, but it wouldn't surprise me.
The food prices you gave weren't out of line for Austin, though, in my
experience. You can always go a little higher in a restaurant, depending
on where you go and what you want to eat, but I'm sure that's true
anywhere.
